Group information and updates
We run our own meetings. Nigel Reason is the Chairperson. Nigel Taylor is the Secretary because he loves note-taking.
Pam Bebbington is the ‘Greeter.’ She makes everybody feel very welcome.
Alan Ensor is the Treasurer. He looks after the Group’s Money.
Last year was a busy year for the Banbury Group! A Living History course with Oxford Brookes University and time spent with a Textile Artist from Fusion Arts and making a panel for the Pitt Rivers Museum outreach program. Since our AGM in November, four of the Banbury Group Members are now Trustees of My Life My Choice.
We continue with our fundraising efforts at Banbury, with huge support from businesses in the local community, as well as from the Staff and Volunteers at the Redlands Centre. This has enabled us to run four Bingo nights last year, with one already under our belts for this year!
The Group are currently involved in helping set up a ‘Safe Places’ Scheme in Banbury so that vulnerable people can feel reassured when they are out in the Town.
