We recently reached a huge milestone: we have 1,000 members at My Life My Choice! Since our founding in 1998, this is the largest community we have ever had, and we are so proud of how far we’ve come. More members mean more people speaking up for themselves and fighting prejudice, and the more of us there are, the harder we are to ignore. We can’t wait to keep growing!

To celebrate this milestone, members from our Young Adults’ group teamed up with our Events Coordinator to plan something extra special: the We Are 1000! Festival.

The event was a true celebration of our growing community. Members, staff, and supporters came together to enjoy live music, entertainment, free food and drinks, and, most importantly, the chance to connect and celebrate alongside one another.

Ady Chappell, one of our Co-Chairs of Trustees, said on the day,

‘Every member here has something special to give. When we speak up, people listen. When we work together, we make change happen. My Life My Choice is made by its members.’
