MLMC wins at the Charity Awards!

The Charity Awards are the most prestigious awards in the sector.

My Life My Choice is delighted to announce that we won a Charity Award in the Disability Category for our Computer Buddy project!

The Charity Awards are the longest-running and most prestigious awards in the sector. The winner is decided by a panel of expert judges, who are all leaders in the charity sector.

The Computer Buddy project supports our members to learn new digital skills.

We also provide free devices to our members who need one.

The award was accepted by MLMC Co-Chairs of the Trustees, Ady Chappell and Ben McCay, and Consultant Dawn Wiltshire.

Judge Chris Sherwood said that MLMC ‘demonstrated a deep and genuine commitment to being user-led’.

Judge Karin Woodley added: “That in itself is innovative. To have a project that is entirely led by people with direct lived experience is something we need more of in our sector” – We could not agree more!
